21-56.1002. APPLICATION PROCEDURE

(a) Request. A request for an application for a permit to practice engineering or land surveying in the State of North Carolina on a temporary basis may be made at the Board address.

(b) Applicable Forms. The forms provided by the Board for persons requesting a temporary permit requires the applicant to set forth the period of time in which he desires a temporary permit, to certify that he is currently registered to practice in his own state, and to name the project or work for which the permit is desired.

(c) Verified Registration. Before a temporary permit may be issued, a written verification of the applicant's current registration in his own state must be received directly from the applicant's licensing Board.

(d) Fee. Registration fee for applying for a temporary permit is payable with the filing of the application. No portion of this fee is refundable.
